Pacific Maritime Security Program Wharf Infrastructure

As part of the Pacific Maritime Security Program, Australia is upgrading wharf infrastructure to ensure the safe and secure berthing of the Guardian-class Patrol Boats.

Works are at various stages of procurement and delivery in all 13 nations, with main works now complete in six Pacific nations (Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Samoa, Tuvalu, Cook Islands, Fiji Vanuatu and Kiribati).

Construction and detailed design works in the remaining seven nations will recommence once COVID-19 travel restrictions lift.
