The Vanguard Occasional Paper Series

The Vanguard Occasional Paper Series advances awareness of Australian defence and security concerns.

Launched in 2021, the papers contribute to emerging and contemporary debates facing Australian military, policy and strategic decision-makers and seek to encourage broader public discussion.

Submissions

The Vanguard considers original, high-quality research and analysis that engages with topics of future importance to Australian defence and security organisations.

Submissions should be essays or monographs between 10,000 and 30,000 words and be written for a military, security and policy audience.
