Overview
Robertson Barracks base is a major Australian Army base located at Holzte, 15km east of Darwin in the Northern Territory. The base is home to the Army’s 1st Brigade and 1st Aviation Regiment, hosting a significant number of living, working and training facilities.
This Robertson Barracks Base Improvements project aims to provide essential upgrades to facilities and infrastructure at Robertson Barracks to meet the projected demands of the Australian Defence Force and our partners.
The project has received Parliamentary approval. Construction work is expected to commence in late 2023 with completion in late 2026.
Community information
Consultation on the proposed works will be ongoing with Federal and State Parliamentary members, local office holders and a range of local community and industry groups and representatives.

Substation ring network | Connection of spur substations to a ring network |
Active information and communications technology | Provide active network equipment to all new facilities |
