Corporal Jessica Guinan has ensured some people in the community who are doing it tough will have some joy this Christmas.
The executive assistant to the Commander Surveillance and Response Group (SRG) at RAAF Base Williamtown volunteered to hold a donation drive for the Salvation Army.
She asked SRG personnel and staff to donate toys and food.
“I am incredibly proud of the contribution my colleagues have made to the Salvos’ drive,” Corporal Guinan said.
“It is my hope that the donations for children and families will make a meaningful difference.
“This is just another way Air Force can serve the community.”
Salvation Army representatives collected the donations on December 4.
The toys and food stuffs will be distributed to local families in need.
