The Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025, presented by ATCO and Boeing, will take place from February 8-16, 2025. This event will bring together up to 550 competitors from 25 nations to compete in adaptive sports, including the new winter sports:
- Alpine skiing
- Biathlon
- Nordic skiing
- Skeleton
- Snowboard
- Wheelchair curling.
The following sports will be in addition to the core Invictus Games sports:
- Indoor rowing
- Sitting volleyball
- Swimming
- Wheelchair basketball
- Wheelchair rugby.
The Invictus Games is an international sporting event for wounded, injured, ill serving and former serving military personnel. The games use the power of sport to support recovery, rehabilitation and generate wider understanding and respect for those who serve their country.
The Australian Defence Force (ADF) and Invictus Australia have partnered to send a combined team of 33 current and former serving ADF members.
