Ceremonial support request

For Defence ceremonial support please use the request form below.

Requests must be submitted at least 12 weeks before the event. A separate Ceremonial Support Request is to be submitted for each event. Events separated by time or location must be submitted as separate requests.

Prioritisation

Defence prioritises ceremonial support to Government of Australia and State/ Territory Government activities, including Vice Regal and Head of State events. On national days of significance Defence will prioritise support to Government and Returned and Services League (RSL) sponsored events, with the expectation that the public will attend those events.

Community organisations and schools / education institutions are encouraged to contact their local Army, Navy or Air Force Cadet Units for ceremonial support.
