On 4 December 2021, the Department of Defence held a Community Walk-in Session.
The session provided the local community with an update on the management, remediation and ongoing monitoring of per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) at RAAF Base Pearce and nearby areas. The Walk-in Session also invited community input to inform options for the supply of scheme water to West Bullsbrook.
On 10 July 2019, Defence held two Community Information Sessions to provide the local community an update on the detailed environmental investigation into per- and poly- fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) at RAAF Base Pearce and nearby areas.
Members of the investigation team were available to discuss the PFAS Management Area Plan, the Ongoing Monitoring Plan and the potential long-term water supply options being considered for affected residents.
On 15 November 2018, Defence held a Community Information Kiosk to provide the local community an update on the detailed environmental investigation into per- and poly- fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) at RAAF Base Pearce and nearby areas.
Members of the investigation team were available to discuss the progress of the investigation and answer questions about the Ecological Risk Assessment and the PFAS Management Area Plan.

Defence held two Community Walk-in Sessions on 24 July 2018 and a Community Kiosk on 28 July 2018, to provide the local community an update on the detailed environmental investigation into per- and poly- fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) at RAAF Base Pearce and nearby areas.
Members of the investigation team were available to discuss the results of the Detailed Site Investigation and the Human Health Risk Assessment as well as the next steps in the process.
On 8 April 2018, the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) opened a stand at the Bullsbrook Country Fair. Representatives from the RAAF Base Pearce PFAS investigation team were available at the stand to answer questions on the PFAS investigations.
The Department of Defence ran two Community Shopfronts on the 23rd and 24th February 2018, in Bullsbrook.
The Shopfronts provided the community with an opportunity to find out more information in an informal setting about the environmental investigation into per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) at RAAF Base Pearce and nearby areas.
Representatives from the Project Team were available at the Shopfronts to answer questions relating to the investigations and to provide updates on the Detailed Site Investigation and Human Health and Ecological Risk Assessment.
