Overview

The Australian Defence College Preparation Course (ADC Prep) is a five-week preparation course for those selected international personnel who will attend the Defence and Strategic Studies Course, the Australian Command and Staff Course, or the Capability and Technology Management Program.

Learning outcomes

The course prepares members militarily and linguistically for academic study. It focuses on enhancing their academic writing, listening, research, and study skills, while also introducing them to topics relevant to their future courses, such as Australian Defence Force (ADF) doctrine and Australia's strategic environment.

Prerequisites

Test successfully at an appropriate level on the Australian Defence Force English Language Profiling System (ADFELPS).

International military

Selected international personnel who will attend the Defence and Strategic Studies course, the Australian Command and Staff course, or the Capability and Technology Management Program.
