The Defence Contamination Management Manual (DCMM) offers practical guidance and tools to support the management of contamination (soil, sediment and water) on Defence property.
DCMM aims to reduce risks to human health, the environment and Defence capability. It supports compliance with the National Environment Protection (Assessment of Site Contamination) Measure 1999 and other Defence policies.
Industry partners should reference DCMM during the planning and conduct of activities on contaminated Defence sites, including property acquisition, leasing, divestment, construction and development.
