Australian Naval Classification Authority Manual - Volume 1

The Australian Naval Classification Authority Manual (Volume 1) provides the policies and procedures to support the implementation of the Australian Naval Classification (ANC) Framework.

The purpose of the manual is to set out the ANC Framework. It describes the following:

• key elements of the framework
• establishes governance conventions
• details the operation of the framework during the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of naval vessels.

This manual contains the ANC Policy, which provides the authority, obligations, accountabilities, and operating model necessary to implement and operate an effective ANC Framework.
