Mental Health and Psychology Services provide both mental health assessment and treatment and/or occupational psychology assessments. Medical Officers and mental health and psychology personnel are supported where necessary by ‘off base’ contracted service providers and mental health specialists.

Nine on-base Regional Mental Health Teams (RMHTs) conduct mental health training and promotional activities and provide support to commanders. RMHTs are multi-disciplinary teams comprised of a Regional Mental Health Manager; Senior Mental Health Professional; Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs (ATODs) Coordinator; and a Mental Health Promotions Officer.
