Airservices is Australia's air navigation service provider. One of the responsibilities of Airservices is aviation rescue firefighting. Airservices is responding to the past use of firefighting foam containing PFAS at civilian airports. Visit the Airservices website to read more about their response to PFAS contamination.
Food Standards Australia New Zealand has released health based guidance values for some PFAS. Defence is using these guidance values in its environmental investigations and human health risk assessments.
