Tours of the Australian Defence Force Academy
Organised Group Tours of the Academy facilities are conducted on Wednesdays between 1300 hrs and 1500 hrs. Booking requests should be submitted to email@example.com – requests will only be actioned and confirmed in the year in which the tour is being conducted.

What’s on at the Australian Defence Force Academy
This is a chance for potential ADFA candidates, Defence families and members of the community to learn more about the lifestyle, tertiary education and military training on offer at the Academy. There is also a range of military displays by the Navy, Army and Air Force to give you a snapshot of some of the careers available to you in the ADF.
Thousands of people attended the 2018 ADFA Open Day and enjoyed the RAAF Roulettes display, RAAF military working dogs display, a simulated ground based infantry attack by ADFA Midshipmen and Officer Cadets, overwater obstacle course, physical training outdoor battle display, Army vehicle displays, Army Parachute Display Team, Navy helicopters and much more. ADFA’s Midshipmen and Officer Cadets ran stalls, selling food and interacted with families and potential candidates to provide them with insight into life while at ADFA.

Gates open at ADFA at 9.00am. Car parking is limited and free Action shuttle buses will depart from Campbell Park and Russell Offices for the public to attend the event. Buses from Campbell Park commence at 8.30am and the final bus will return by 4.25pm. Buses from Russell Offices main car park commence at 8.40am, with the final bus returning to the main carpark by 4.10pm.
You are reminded that prohibited items and substances are not permitted to be carried on ACTION shuttle buses and onto the ADFA precinct.

The 2019 Graduation Parade will be held at the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) on Thursday 12 December 2019, commencing at 9.30am.
The Graduation Parade is a significant milestone in the careers of the graduating midshipmen and officer cadets, marking the culmination of three years of military and academic studies at ADFA. The parade incorporates the presentation of awards and is one of the largest ceremonial events conducted annually in Australia, with the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Redt) as the Reviewing Officer.
The Academy is pleased to welcome all guests to this important event, and hope the following information will assist you in planning your attendance. For those unable to attend, the parade will be live-streamed on the ADFA Facebook Page.
