Operation RIVERBANK
Operation RIVERBANK is the ADF’s contribution to the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) and is comprised of two officers. A Colonel currently fulfils the role of Senior Military Advisor to the Special Representative to the Secretary General, within the United Nations Assistance Mission for Irag based in Baghdad, while a Lieutenant Colonel is in Kirkuk as a Military Advisor to the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq.
