Operation HEDGEROW
Australia contributes to the United Nations and African Union Mission (UNAMID) in Darfur. By stabilising the region and providing support for an effective peace process, the Australian Government and international community aim to deter the resurgence of violence in Darfur.

Australian has committed eight personnel to this mission.
Australia is providing specialist capabilities in logistics, movements and operations to UNAMID headquarters to better support the activities of the African Union Peacekeepers.
