TOUR DE FORCE CONCERT TO MIDDLE EAST A group of Australian performers are about to be a part of the ultimate road show; entertaining Australian troops in the Middle East. Rock group ‘The Choirboys’ will headline the program. The trio will be joined by comedian George Smilovich, singer/songwriter Drew McAlister and Bessie Bardot. ‘The Choirboys’ recently performed for Australian troops in the Solomon Islands and jumped at the opportunity for a repeat performance. "We had an amazing time in the Solomons seeing first hand the good work our soldiers are doing, so when we discovered there was a group going to the Middle East we wanted to be a part of it," said Choirboys vocalist Mark Gable. The group plans to perform a set of their big hits including ‘Run To Paradise’ and ‘Boys Will Be Boys’ as well as tracks from their new album ‘Evolver’. "We remember the level of support and appreciation we received in the Solomons," Mark said. "It was brilliant." "We have no doubt this trip will be a highlight, we’re really looking forward to being able to provide the ADF members in the Middle East with the opportunity to enjoy the show," he said. "It’s a very small way we can show our appreciation to all ADF personnel who are working hard in the Middle East."
