Members of the Headquarters Joint Task Force 636 (HQJTF636) - Kabul Drive Team conduct driver training in the Up-Armoured SUVs at Hamid Karzai International Airport between supporting tasks for the Resolute Support mission. The HQJTF636 Drive Team provides tactical protected mobility and security around Kabul using Up-Armoured SUVs that allow for greater manoeuvrability through the urban environment.
A few of the 82 Australian Defence Force personnel deployed to Afghanistan, as part of Operation Highroad who also served on Operation Slipper gather in Kabul to celebrate the Operation Slipper Welcome Home Parades taking place throughout Australia on Saturday, 21 March 2015. Since Australia commenced deployments to Afghanistan, around 34,500 Australian Defence Force personnel, Australian Public Service employees and Australian Federal Police have deployed to the Middle East Region.

The crew of HMAS Success celebrate the Royal Australian Navy's 114th Birthday while on watch, deployed in the Middle East Region as part of Operation MANITOU. The youngest member of Ship's Company, Melissa Sirett who is 19 years of age, joined the Commanding Officer, Captain Justin Jones, to cut the magnificent cake created by the Chefs of Success for morning tea. The cake was distributed around the ship so that other members of the crew who were on watch received a celebratory slice of birthday action.
